Everything I've come across is metric on the car.
 
For my part, I like the racheting wrenches- they come in handy on the
Delorean. I highly recommend a set of them.

I have a question for those of you who have worked on your cars
extensively:

Is everything metric?

I'm considering just buying a metric wrench set, though I won't need it 
until I get the car. I have a standard set already, but considering the 
DeLorean was European-built, I suspect many things will be in metric. I 
have heard many times that metric bolts are used for this and that ... 
but is the whole thing metric?
