Rich, until you know the condition of all of your grounds,
then expect anything. The three main ones to check are as
follows:
At the crumple tube on the driver's side between the
radiator & brake master cylinder.
On the passenger side trailing arm bushing (or real close to
it). We can clean that one up when we do your TABs.
On the intake manifold at the front driver's side.
There are others, too. We need to get someone to write up a
complete ground problem how-to web page.
Also beware that the volt meter in the dash is a 6 volt
gauge connected in series with a resistor to make it work
for 12 volts. As this resistor heats up, the accuracy of
the gauges changes by about 1 volt.
