Geez I leave for 3 weeks and all that's happening is Tampa stuff... I am
ready to be back down there!!
My parents have closed on a house in Cross Creek and my wife and I are
building a house in Seven Oaks (due for completion around September). I
spent a load of time on Fowler and BBD over the time there. I missed your
emails about meeting, I would have loved to meet you guys, maybe next time I
am in town. BTW my cell number has changed to a Tampa one for business,
email me off list and I can send it to you guys down there so we can all
chat on local calls.
I will be back down there off and on and will try to set up stuff for the
Fridge Run if I am there.

I forgot about Mel's hotdogs, that's over on Bush. Farrar any good jokes
with that one?
The Mel's Dinner that I was thinking about is a fairly new place that is
almost across the street from Sears automotive on Fowler. Take a drive over
and see what you think, they host a cruise-in once a week. At least its
just a straight run up Fowler from I75.
They are on the web www.melsdiners.com

> Walt are you set on Perkins or would you consider going
over to Mel's on fowler across from the mall?
I am open to about any location. I suggest Perkins because
it is around the corner from my house & easy to find. Then
people could show up to either place and not be too lost.
Perkins has plenty of parking. There is a nice lot in the
back where we could have a view of the cars while we eat.
Is Mel's that hot dog place? The guy who has the red
wiener-mobile? I've always wanted to get some photos of a
hot chick riding shotgun on that thing. The only time I've
eaten at Mel's was about 20 years ago. Mel was all hyper &
kept wandering from table to table messing with his
customers. It was cool, but I couldn't concentrate on my
food.

If he is the Dimitry that I've met before, he is Greek and a
musician & school teacher who lives in Clearwater Beach.
His DeLorean is very low miles and previously a garage
queen. The only thing I don't like about his car is that he
soaks it in a huge tub of Armor-all. Well, you would think
that anyway if you try to work on it. Bring towels. :-)
