I was actually unaware of the "feature". My other manual shift car will 
easily go into first under slow movement (stop and go traffic, and a few 
turns around town I go thru). Of course in my other car, i can get away 
with being in 2nd (little 4 cylinder) and go, while in the delorean, I 
have to usually go into first as 2nd wants a bit more speed.
