Today in Holland, MI we had a pretty nice, dry day in the 40's No clouds, no snow, no wet roads.....time for the Delorean. I haven't driven my car in over 2 months (besides around the block to warm her up). I have a routine I do where I drive 10 miles down the highway, scope out for cops, then drive back those same 10 miles as fast as I can go. Since my speedo isn't working (hey Espey...still waiting for that Angle drive to come in) I've been reading my speed off of my tach. The Delorean handles the best at high speeds in my opinion. I have a 5speed and my RPMs were up to 4300. So, going by dmcnews.com for every 1000rpms in 5th gear its 26.63 MPH. So 4300 x 26.63= 114.5MPH. Not the fastest car in the world, i know...but the fastest car on the highway this afternoon. I wonder what people think when they see a Delorean going that fast. I bet they don't think anything at all except for where's a cop when you need one. but in my mind they were all ooooo'ing and aaaaaahh'ing. Happy New Year Erik 4512 Yahoo!
