Well it's been at least 3 months but probably not 3,000 miles since I reconditioned my engine. I say reconditioned instead of rebuilt because I did not replace rings, bearings or have the valves lapped or anything. If you recall, I did head gaskets, seals and sensors mainly. There was a lot more, but anyway... So today I did a "regular" oil change. The oil was definitely ready to be changed but to my relief, there was no coolant or even a hint of anything that didn't belong there. For some reason I had a bad feeling that maybe the repair didn't hold but I guess I was just paranoid. I did use a purflux filter from Houston this time, and I put in something a little lighter than straight 30 weight due to the cold weather. Also, my new horns arrived, courtesy of Dave Stragand's link and part numbers. I can't wait to install them. Rich A. #5335 Yahoo!
