I always found starting in reverse and spinning around to be much easier in any vehicle since you do not need to use the emergency/parking brake at all. I saw one guy in a BMW accomplish what was essentially a flat-spin, in that he did 360's back to back. I think I remember them saying to get the tires to spin that way they over-inflated the tires.
