Hm. Ok. I hadn't considered the warning light. This is backwards from other units I've worked with. You're saying the tank-zilla works the way I'm used to and it has an inverter box to function with the gauge but the stock sender works the other way? I certainly suppose it's possible if the gauge were mounted "upside down" and marked accordingly. Also, this is one of the type of gauges that holds it's reading even when power is off. The senders I've worked with dropped to zero when power is removed. The sender is real easy to get at. I could cannablize Mike Cohee's. If I plug it in, and it works, then you're right and my sender is shot.
