[DMCForum] Re: Fuel gauge short



You may want to unplug gauge. Shorting is OK for quick test, but if
you leave that way can melt the micro fine wire that drives needle
(assuming DeLo gauge same as most others). Are usually resistors in
circuit to protect gauge.
