Hi John.

Thanks for the compliments.  Being considered cracked by your 
girlfriend is a compliment indeed.

I made the car because it had to be restored from the frame up, and I 
like to make strange things.

The car's top speed is limited to 108mph as it sits right now.  At 
that speed, the rear engine will self-destruct.  
Acceleration however, will be pretty good for a street car, topping 
out at .7g - .8g. all the way up to 30mph, which it should reach in 
less than 2 seconds. It should hit 60mph in about 4.7 seconds. The 
car is geared very low, but is also very heavy, about 1900 kg with 
the driver.
