If the lambda relay was totally bad, replacing the O2 sensor wouldn't have made a difference. Of course it could be failing once it warms up. I had a fan relay do that. I know you haven't messed with the CO screw but I suggest that you put a dwell meter on the engine to see what the lambda computer is doing now that it has input from a new sensor. You may require a slight adjustment. I can help you with this if you don't know how. Mike Cohee has lent me his dwell meter. Also, make sure you use an analog one.
