O rings showed up. Are noticeably firmer than ones that came out. Hopefully will hold up better. Was all set to reassemble intake/upper air assembly when Italian next door neighbor came over. Was very upset about brick through my truck's back window. Talked at me about it until 20 minutes or so before sunset (really think he was more concerned about his own vehicles, which never park on street BTW). Tried to reseat manifold in waning sunlight when one of the bolt holes stripped. I know aluminum engines are the hottest thing since sliced bread, but there IS something to be said for cast iron... Will tap it out to 8mm tomorrow. May do all four to eliminate some of those odd 7mm bolts. Will I make it to SEDOC... Bill Robertson #5939 Yahoo!
