[DMCForum] cold start tube explanation doesn't apply



...Btw, if you're unable to achieve a stable manual idle the CIS 
system won't have a chance, assuming you ever put it back on. You've 
mucked with the car so I don't have a clue as to what you've got but 
you have a small path to the induction system somewhere, one thats 
gonna be highly sensitive to volatile solvents. How is your rocker 
covers/timing cover vented? You said your car has a hose to the air 
cleaner, where is that connected to? If it's to the breather, thats 
the path. It's simply taking the long way around.
