Off course you're right Martin, the crankcase is not part of the induction system. Anything ported into the induction system is suspect however and that includes the injector seals and anything else downstream of the throttle body including the portions of the evap system and brake boost...but it sure doesn't include volume under the valve covers. How this myth ever got started is beyond me, I've been shaking my head everytime I've seen it mentioned. Yahoo!
