After buying a different lamp number (1157), I tried it with the
original bulb and the first replacement (no. 2357). No matter which
bulb I chose, it would sometimes cause the turn signal to blink at
double speed and other times be fine. I then cleaned the bulb
socket with some sandpaper. This made everything work correctly and
I used the amber 1157 double filament bulbs which are now synced to
the perimeter lights. A simple project I was able to make
difficult! Maybe someone will see this and break out the sandpaper
earlier.
