I finally flipped through all of your pictures. First, if I'd had a garage like that instead of working outside, I would have been done a lot sooner and would have taken more things apart without fear. You're real lucky and I'm jealous. Second, looks like you're doing a great job. Too bad about the cam flange hanging up. I should put a note about that in my tech article. Gullwing magazine wants to put my piece in their mag by the way. The head repair looks great and the block cleaned up well. I hate to say it man, but you really ought to do the other one while the engine is all apart. It's like brakes, you don't do just one side. You gotta do them in pairs. What I don't understand, is what led you to believe you blew a gasket? Your car looks great. I'm sure you don't abuse it. Or was this a "just in case" exercise?
