Hi Mike, I am catching up on my e-mail but am still about 100 messages behind. It didn't help that Yahoo decided to unsubscribe me because it wasn't getting along with my ISP. My daily driver still has a crappy running engine. Then a week ago the linkage for the automatic transmission came loose. Luckily that happened at home. Hopefully it will be an easy fix. Tomorrow Samuel is coming over and we are going to replace the fuel distributor, warm-up regulator and maybe the injectors. I know that the fuel distributor on there now doesn't open all the injectors at the same time. One in particular comes on too late which causes that cylinder to run lean and backfire through the intake. The car I bought on eBay is rotting nicely in my front yard. The once pristine OEM car cover I put on it is already coming apart. There are enough leaks that with the daily rains the car stays full of water. Then the sun bakes it and turns the interior into a steam bath. I do have plans of finding garage space for it soon, really! I "drove" it a bit recently. The brakes barely stop the car. The steering rack is stripped out, so there isn't much steering. As I let the engine warm up, I could see either steam or exhaust gasses coming from the oil filler port. Nice! Well, this car will probably be getting the old engine that comes out of my daily driver when Darren builds me that new engine. Walt Yahoo!
