Did you ever verify that oil is flowing when you turn it over?  pull the
sending unit and oil should start to come out after a few seconds of
cranking.  If that squeeking comes back with dry cylinders I wouldn't keep
trying to start it till you get oil circulating.

I really dont think compression is the issue.  I have an engine with one
dead cylinder 40psi when all the others area around 100psi it runs really
rough and burns alot of oil but it still runs.
