[DMCForum] Floodin' Out

I pulled the intake today to pre-lube the cylinders for the next
starting attempt, and to pull the injectors for cleaning.

The manual states that the injectors are constantly open when the
fuel system is engaged, and that fuel will collect in the intake
valves when the valves are closed. This may be true, but when I
pulled my intake, the valves that were shut, had cavities FULL of
fuel. I don't think that much fuel is supposed to collect.

There's no way the car can start with half a cup of fuel per cylinder
just being dumped in as soon as you crank the engine.

My other fuel injection manual keeps pointing me to a stuck metering
plunger in the fuel distributor by several other symptoms. I knew it
was toast.

On a related topic, I'm not hearing from anyone with parts laying
around. ;-) I need a CO adjustment screw, or top half of a venturi
with the air flow sensor assembly intact.

Hook a brother up!
