Well it's no coincidence that the workshop we use for tough jobs where a ramp is required (until we move) is the Diesel Centre - Diesel car specialists. Their line to anyone who says "but I don't like diesels" is "have you ever driven one?" Invariably the answer is no. Some of the VW/Audi diesels are going even higher hp than the french ones, I believe some of the 2.0 TDi's have gone over the 150hp mark. BTW for anyone else reading this, my car towed a DeLorean 550 miles back from Germany.
