The heli coil kits come with instructions and the slightly more expensive
kits even come with the correct size drill bit.  And you MUST use the
correct size or you will pull the insert out or break the tap.  It is very
easy, drill, tap, put in the insert, put in the bolt.  I use threadlock
just
to make sure the insert doesnt backout.
