Sound like you need to get your tires rebalanced... -Dave -----Original Message----- From: erikgeerdink [mailto:erikgeerdink@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, June 18, 2003 9:31 AM To: DMCForum@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [DMCForum] shakey steering column UPDATE Ok, I didn't buy the bushing because I looked at mine at it appears to be good. I went into my records from 2000 and they bushing was replaced when I brought my car to Marty Maier and Micah Fryman. The steering rack was also rebuilt at that time. New tie rods and all that crap. Any idea why my column shacks at higher speeds? Wheel bearing? The passenger bearing was replaced in 2000. The drivers was not. I guess I could check to see if that wheel has play in it when its on jack stands. Does this sound like my problem? Erik [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] Yahoo!
