walt, what was funny is that i took the old solenoid out and looked closely at the wires....they were fused together!...when i peeled them apart you could see the copper wires were touching each other like a couple of 16 year olds in a school hallway :-)...i thought about using electic tape and covering each wire and reinstalling but i had a nice shiny gold one from pj grady installed and could not bear to take it out :-) i wonder now if my solenoid was just shorting itself out....I'll never know mike c Yahoo!
