I guess I'll add my 0.02 : I've had Firestones on other vehicles (two times) and they were notorious for balancing problems. Belts shifting, vibration... Once they'd get them balanced it would be ok for about 200 miles - then be out of balance again. I've never had any of the horror stories that Firestone has become "newsworthy" for; but I wouldn't own another pair...they're way too much maintenance. I have Yoko's on my D now. So far, they have been good tires at a decent price. They were tricky to find, though. The Yoko's had replaced some worn Eagles...which had given me no problems either (the tread life could have been better - but hey.)
