Re: [DMCForum] Clutch master cylinder

The clutch reservoir line has to be made of a material that will withstand
brake fluid. Any ordinary hose (or even fuel grade line) probably will
not
hold up well. Rob Grady told me that the hose he sells is a little
stiffer
than the OEM because it has an inner braid, and this makes it a little
harder to slip on. I would use that before risking using some other hose
that dissolves and contaminates the fluid or leaks it all over the frame.

My other choice would be to use a hose like is used to replace the clutch
line between the master & the slave (sans SS braid). That type of hose is
available in many sizes, and I'm sure one is close enough to fit. But it
may require a heat gun to stretch one size big enough. An additional
complicating factor is that the hose barb on the clutch master is bigger
than the one on the reservoir. So the hose size is a compromise to fit
both
barbs well.
