The unit I have from my 74 ghia goes 0 to 100 that is why I had to switch
which wire goes to the terminal on top of the sending unit.  On the type 1
unit it is really easy to change but you have a leaver arm that sticks out
that you need tom position correctly in the tank and bend the arm a bit to
get a correct reading.  But this type two I found is the same style as the
OEM unit out of the D.
