I wouldn't expect that to help. The seal there is mostly for looks & for
wind noise.

Looking for water to wick up through the headliner would be my first
suggestion. Knowing this when I put my headliner on, I still had a leak
from it. There was just a little speck of exposed headliner on the
passenger side, and this was enough to get the passenger side wet on the
way
to Memphis. I was able to fix it by pulling the gasket up &
repositioning.
BTW, I never glued mine. The friction of the gasket on alone is enough to
hold it in place.

Mine has a little drip on the inside that comes down between the
windshield
& fiberglass. This is something to be fixed from the outside. To get to
the leak, you need to take the black panel over the windshield off. (It
probably needs repainting anyway). Then clean up the area and add more
sealant. I haven't done this yet myself; though, so take my procedure
with
a grain of salt.

> Where is all this moisture/rain getting in!???

My worst leak was through a rusty screw in the gulley just behind the
windshield. I could not believe how much water could find its way through
such an unlikely space. Until I fixed it, it would flood my front
headliner
and drain through the courtesy light. From there it would rain all over
the
center console. I put the screws back in with silicone, and it hasn't
leaked since (except for the leak at the windshield). BTW, the leaky
screw
in my roof was so rusted that it only worked as a plug when I put it back
in. Sheet metal screws like this don't anchor very well in fiberglass
anyway. I plan to replace mine with SS nuts & bolts. That's why I didn't
glue the headliner in.

Let us know how you make out.
