Walt, Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but my understanding is that there is a mold or fungus that developed due to a/c ducting which grows and lives there either primarily or exclusively. Although I can not recall the product name, I have seen it used to clean out the ducts. With the flaps inside the ducting configured in a way to allow passage through all, the product is sprayed into the center vents, I believe, until you see white foam coming out of the vents further away. The foam will dissipate within a few minutes and is supposed to kill what is living in there and leave a fresh scent. I would think any a/c refrigeration shop would know about this or where to obtain the product. Greg Second, if I don't use my car for a week, then the a/c smells moldy & stinks my car up until I clear it out. I thought I had a lot of leaves composting in it, but when I took the unit out of the dash, there were only a couple of leaves. Or does stuff just grow on the evaporator? It looked clean. ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor ---------------------~--> Home Selling?
