The pulsing effect was not quite so much a strobe effect as, at least as
it
appeared to me, the sort of effect one would get it one placed a light
behind
a triple-bladed fan turning very slowly. The light seemed to come from the
inside and then flare out rather than appear and disappear at once ... I
have
the movies on VCD but the quality is not so wonderful. And I haven't seen
them in a long time either as life is busy these days. Anyway, I have
thought
of trying that myself -- placing a steady dim light behind a slowly-moving
fan blade, like one of those miniature fans people keep in their offices
(at
least they do here in "the deep south"). I haven't tried it yet, though,
and
I probably won't any time soon. If anybody does, let me know how it works.
