Travis (and everyone else),
Mike in Baltimore....I appreciate your honesty in your post and feel the
same way...Many Delorean owners have given me hours and hours and hours of
their time. Mike Pack and Walt are two that come to mind. They did it
becasue they love the car. No hidden agenda or "whats in it for me". In
the
end we want people to admire our cars and appreciate what we do to keep
them
running. I am extrmemly nice to everyone that talks to me at gas stations
or
pulls up to my house and gets out to talk to me. Imagine what it took for
that person to get up the nerve...... 
 
I think owning this car comes with an inherent obligation to answer the
many
questions we get. If you dont want questions asked then drive a car like
my
other car...a Honda Accord....I have never, repeat never, had anyone stop
me
and say "Is that a Honda Accord?"  :-)
 
That said... please send me the complete details and any pictures on
building the Flux Capicitor...my home email is Billsfanmd(at)aol.com

I am getting so tired of the whole "secret society" of DeLorean owners

it makes me want to puke.

I recently had an exchange with someone about the labeling on their flux
capacitor. In the photo they had the labels couldn't be made out, so I
asked
him what they said. His response was:

"I am afraid not. It took me along time to find out what it says in the
movie to make it correct. I will tell you that it is the same as the movie
and if you want to know you'll have to buy one. Sorry."

Now, I can find out pretty easily what it says. I've got 20 or so pics
that
people have sent me. Yet, how else can I confirm his is correct? Trust
him?

PLEASE! I beg you guys. DON'T LET THIS GROUP GET LIKE THIS! If anyone ever
has questions about what I am doing, ask me. I am not in it to make a few
bucks, I'm in it because I love the car AND THAT IS ALL!! If anyone wants
to
know how I built my flux capacitor, I will be glad to tell that as well.
(It
uses chasing LEDs instead of strobes and only cost about $20)
