Do you know it never occurred to me to wonder if mine is an 8 or 16v! 
All this learnin' I've done lately and never applied it to my old 
favourite! Prolly same block, different head. I wonder about the 
longevity. The XUD's used to go through head gaskets every 150,000 or 
so. Of course when you're burning bio-diesel it doesn't matter how much 
CO2 you kick out because as a fuel, it's carbon neutral.
