Which auction are you referring too?
 
If you mean the "Car Crash" documentary at the end,that was the Culloden Hotel auction.
 
Held by NIC (Northern Ireland Carriers) who used to transport the cars to the docks.
 
14th Sept 1982.
 
They were owed money so they sold 12 cars.
