Re: [doc] re new accumulator-now will not start!

Hi

thankyou for the advice.

Accumulator is definately the right way round as the inputs/outputs
are a different size.

the pump is brand new (as is the specialTauto baffle system)

i will check battery (now a bit low with all the cranking)
perhaps the pump earth (front frame) and pump connection.

will jump the relay 30/87 and see if i can hear the pump
(maybe disconnect the feed line to the fuel distributor and check if
petrol is comming through (carefully!!!!).

will get under and check for a kink in the steel line -accumulator
to filter.

will check the spark but the plugs must be 13 or so years old so i
assume past their prime.

i also noticed one of the clips to a injector is loose-could be a
vacuum loss??.

was going to check the ohm values of pulse coil/main coil.

ill let you know how i get on.

thankyou all

regards

Steve

total loss of fuel pressure, this will not run the pump to re-prime
the system. No pressure - no engine running.

starting again.

different to the others, if the incorrect one is inserted then you
can lose power to the fuel eco or the control pressure regulator.
