James RG can explain exactly why that can be a really bad idea. But 
everyone's experience is their own! I've had trouble with the dropping 
window moving or coming out of its runner, but apprently Rob Grady never 
has. Steve Wynne once told me they never need to replace thermostats.... 
Funny how "general wisdon" can vary!
