[doc] Flopsy rides again!

I decided to hand in my notice in style today (on my day off too), so I
took Flopsy to work to carry out the deed and give her a bit of a run
(well, any excuse!)
 
Having dropped the bombshell on my boss (just when he didn?t need it), I
was driving back to the A1 and I saw a gorgeous Renault Avantime going
the other way - just as he spotted me.  His look to me said it all ? as
I think mine to him did ? mutual appreciation.
 
It?s also really weird having a working speedo/mileometer ? which is now
reading 72,702 having been sat on 72,667 for about 6 or 7 years.  I?ve
never had the needle shift from below 0 since we got her in 2002, let
alone go round the right hand side of the dial?.although not too far,
Officer (grin).
 
I think the next job before any longer journeys are taken will be to
sort out the fuel tank sender, as it never reads over ¾ tank even when
full, and I started today with ¼ tank, and within a mile this was
reading empty ? despite my only doing about 8 miles since putting a
tenner in her when I got her MOT?d a fortnight ago.
 
I?m just so looking forward to a summer where I will not have time to
use and appreciate the car, I?m gonna make the most of it :o)
