When did you last change the fuel filter? Also you cannot underestimate 
the importance of a fresh cap and rotor.

My own car started messing about when I went into London recently. It 
has driven fine ever since. The common factor was getting hot for a 
while. I have to change cap rotor and plugs on mine.
