Re: [doc] Warm Starting Difficulties

The reason I changed mine was because when I went to start the car when hot
I could always smell petrol.

Reading the K-Jet manual it says that the thermotime switch is to add extra
petrol when the engine is cold - So if it was constantly jammed in the cold
positions then wouldnt it spray more petrol even if the car was hot????

I changed it before I changed the accumulator and I had a noticable change
in the cars hot start problem.

It is there for a purpose on the waterpump and I am sure that they dont last
for ever - and the fact it is listed in the K-Jet manual as "possible causes
of non-starting" raises my eyebrows.

Alistair.
