RE: [doc] Le Mans update

Hi Mike,

there are a shedload of places that will hire you anything from a Hummer to
an E-type to a TVR Tuscan and everything in-between.  the back of the Top
Gar magazine or Evo or Classic Car have a fine selection.

  Hi nick

I'm keen to go, surely it wont just be two or three of us.

Does anybody here know about car hire for an event like this? I'd ben
very keen to drive myself, but I'm not taking my shady 1.3 hyundai
accent over, even if it does look faster than it is so I'd rather hire a
porche or suchlike instead, if that's possible. Anybody know of or done
this before? I'm sure cost cant be that much for 3 days hire, although
maybe the mileage can be a problem.

  Hi Claire/all,
After the news letter went out just before christmas I
have had just two replies from people wishing to go. :-(
I am in contact with Cyril Binet of the French club. He is very
enthusiastic about Le Mans.  He also has a contact with the German club
so we could have a few more people along.  What I need from everyone is
a e-mail just saying they wish to come. As we can't book until we know
numbers.  There are discounts dependent on numbers. And I know Richard J
was after a number to push the hotel cost down.

I am going to set the end of this Month as a provisional deadline. If I
don't hear from people before then we will go with what ever number have
  come foward at that time.

  All the very best

  Nick H
