Following my telephone conversation on your mobile this evening, I would be
grateful if you could put me in touch with a De Lorean owner in or near
Bristol.

As I explained, my boyfriend is fanatical about De Loreans, and has had
several near misses encountering them. The main highlight of his trip to
America was that he was going to be see the Back to the Future De Lorean at
Universal Studios. Unfortunately, when he got there, he found it had been
removed for maintenance! Then there was a De Lorean at a motor show in
Ashton Court in Bristol, but at the time we were on holiday abroad. There
was also one spotted on the back of a truck, travelling down the main road
near our house, but we were away on a day trip so we missed that one too!
However, he was lucky enough to encounter one recently when we were driving
to Weston-Super-Mare. He almost ran our car off the road straining his neck
to see it disappear into the distance in the opposite direction.

Anyhow, I was wondering if there was an owner in or near Bristol, if we
might be able to come to some arrangement for him to take him out for a
drive. It is his birthday next Tuesday (21st October) and I think it would
definitely make his day!

If you do know of someone who could help us out, then I would be grateful if
you could pass on my details. I will leave my mobile number, as I am trying
to arrange this as a surprise I would hate for someone to call me at home
and Lee answer the phone.
