front speakers

Hello, 

Does anyone have experience with changing the front speakers? I've 
managed to get the old ones out but the new ones won't fit. The new 
ones are Infinity ref 3052cf 3.5 ince speakers and they have a 
tweeter that protrudes about 0.5cm above the speaker. This is 
touching the dash and the existing screws aren't long enough to go 
through the mounting holes. It seems most modern speakers have 
tweeters, is there a way of makeing them fit?
