Re: [doc] Fuse ratings - any recommended changes??

Nick,
My electric windows have a 30 fuse fitted and seem to be working fine. My car is (A.F.A.I.K) all original in terms of electronic systems. Incidentally, even with the original Ducellier alternator fitted I got 12 / 13 volts showing up on the volt meter this afternoon and that was with CD player and air con on full blast.

Having said all that, my car is still misbehaving slightly: My driver's door is still stuck firmly shut and I am currently getting in and out of the vehicle through the passenger door (DOH!). While researching the problem I read some horror stories on the DML archive last night, talking about basically forcing the door open etc. I'm NOT going to force my door open but am a bit puzzled as to what can be makin the door jam. The lock system seems to be relatively trouble-free on my car; I've had no problems with the locks really since I've owned the car. I've tried manually moving the lock rods about (BTW thanks to Martin for the advice) but the door will_not_move. Anyone else had this trouble on their car?

Phil Peters and LHJ 58W (which is doing its best to promote the "trapped in the car" myth at the moment.)
