The stock DeLorean window motors are really crap. You can buy special adhesives which will glue the nylon "elbow" but the gear inside the mechanism will fail sooner or later and windows driven by a stock mechanism often seem to fail to reach the top of their travel resulting in wind noise and rattles.

I just brought a pair of the strengthened ones back from the US and look forward to fitting them tomorrow - shame your pass one isn't the busted one 'cos my pass side still works, but I'll be replacing it anyway.
