Peugeot Engines

Has anyone done much investigation into how much or little the Peugeot
version of the PRV relates to the Delorean?

I ask becuase when I was in the local library last night I noticed a genuine
Peugeot workshop manual for the 604 published in 1980. I've taken it out,
had a quick look, it's definitely got a variant of the PRV in it. Lots of
photos for the various procedures etc.

They also had a copy of Autobook (predecssor/competitor? of Haynes mauals)
for the Renault 30.
