Both Martin and I (and Rich... and severalothers) have done the process... some of us more than once. It's dead easy.

 

Check the club website - there is plenty of info there.

 

As for costs, it's only the actual shipping and duty that will be extra. 5% duty and, depending on where the car is, about $1000 shipping (tho it can be much less).

Also, what other costa are there involved in importing one like this?

I wouldn't be bothered about getting it road-worthy straight away, so how much would it cost just to get a left-hooker across the pond?  Does anyone know?
