RE: [doc] Please help

Hi Paul,
Have you tried undoing the brake fluid reservoir cap first, then using a prise bar to get them back into the calliper.

Just a though...Andy.

Subject: [doc] Please help

I have just done a really dumb thing, and need some serious suggestion of help before I permanently injure myself.

Whilst sorting my brake system with new pads I had replaced the front and removed the rear drivers side. I was the distracted by a visitor for a few minutes. The next thing I did, don't ask me why, Igot in the car an put my foot on the brake pedal to feel the travel.
yep the rear pistons closed right up to the disc. And now I can't get them back in to put in the new pads.

I have tried absolutely every thing I can think of and they seem to be solid stuck.

Can they come out too far and not go back in??  Is there an easy way to get them back in,  Or is it a case of taking the whole damn calliper off, if so how do I do that??

Yours hanging

Paul
