Re: [doc] Saw a beautiful sight today.....

I had an amusing experience on monday when I drove to work in my D. I got stuck in a road with a bus coming towards me (also stuck) and several cars behind both of us. It was outside a school, and the road was chock with double-parked mummies delivering their kiddywinks. Anyway, everyone behind me backed up, and given the visibility, I popped the door and stuck my head out. If that didn't attract enough attention, the dozy wumman behind didn't realise it was left-hand drive and thought I was reversing strait at her, so she planted her thumb on the horn.... so many kids pointing and shouting.... hehehehehehe....

I had a nice surprise today. Just as I was coming back to work for lunch, I saw this beautiful mint condition Delorean pull out infront of my Jeep wrangler. It was PSO!! My mechanic had patched up my coolant system, and was driving the car to the scrap yard!! To get money for its freshly scrapped corpse!! Not really, to find a replacement coolant expansion bottle to fit the car. It looked beautiful. I'd just fitted some very high quality crome tips to the exhaust pipes, which extend about half a foot back up the exhaust pipes,so look really great. Also, I'd used a very high silicone content, wheel blackener, and the wheels looked like they had been sent straight from the showroom, beautiful. The body work was cleaned down the day before, and the exterior trim blacked up with Back to Black. My mechanic could be seen inside with a huge smile on his face. As I crept up to the drivers window, from behind the car, I could swear I heard him humming "Power of Love" inside, but he'dnever admit it :) Only now do I appreciate why people stare at the car so much. It is a work of art, that whether or not it had the films connections, would atract the glances of everyone walking by. I can't wait to get to show it off in the summer. Driving with the doors open. Which I've done already, and feels amazing. You feel like you're going to fall out all the time, brilliant:) If anyone ever asks if owning a Delorean is worth the hassle, they should just ask me, "bloody hell yes!". And as for the that Quentin Wilson, well he can just f*** o** back to his second hand Peugots and Hondas, slap headed w*****r. Ahem sorry, had to get that out of my system. regards to all,                         Stephen.PSO 69W.

Please help,

need a coolant expansion bottle el rapido. Is there one from another car that will fit in its place, and do the job fine. Is the bottle in fact from another make of car. If not, can the bottle be purchased as a spare part in the UK, or do I HAVE to buy a metal one from the US. If this is the case, how long will it take to get over here. I really want to get PSO up and running again, and I need to sort the expansion bottle ASAP. Any one got ideas?
