RE: [doc] newsletter/ subs

Dan,

Please have a "DeLorean free" happy Christmas.....I hope you soon start to
feel a bit better.

Whilst I don't wish to lecture, but no-body should under-estimate the volume
and cost of work involved in restoring any "classic car".

The last thing I want to see is a disillusioned, broke ex-DeLorean fan.

Did anyone see the recent "Car Reborn" on Cable telly where they restored an
E Type Jag? Total cost at the end of the day £85K!!

Oh I've often visited that site. I don't have the patience or the technical
know-how to do *that* much work. I won't sell the car but I doubt it'll ever
be drivable now (a long story for the website over crimbo methinks).

Instead of being tooooo negative about it all I may just buy another one (on
finance of course) after I've been through the rigour of re-mortgaging and
sorting my finances... but we'll see. At the moment I just want nothing to
do with Delorean's or anything related to them...

Depressing times!

Dan

PS: Thanks for that though - I can certainly relate to some of your
problems!
