Apologies if I'm being simple but how is a car converted to lambda free? I'm 
far from being a mechanic (though if something is broken I can generally fix 
it) but I don't really understand changing systems. Is it an easy mod or was 
it involved?

Go on.. someone point me to an obvious message/web site I've read a thousand 
times on this! ;o)
