They get broken all the time in the USA. The cost of a full restoration
is horrendous!
 
 I personally think this lot is of little use to a UK member, You would
have to pat hefty shipping on bits that may not work/ be UK
spec..possibly import tax too.  Gas struts...Suspect, Head lights...not
UK ..Doth Dave and I have most of the other bits available cheap anyway.

I've never been totally convinced on this one

Unless the car was a write-off, surely Deloreans will go for more as a
whole rather than breaking for parts. I wonder how many VIN's we lose
per year this way, this isnt the first time I've head of a D being
broken for parts this year.
