I have a lockzilla which I bought over 4 years ago, as a prevous
owner had trashed the lock module trying to get the central locking
working. It does just what it says on the box but I agree with
Martin that is very expensive for what it is. At the time it
appeared the only option.
Before you get to involved in the lock module clean all the
connectors in the wiring loom lock system with electrical contact
cleaner (not WD 40). This was the main problem with my lock
system. It also worked on Dean's D' when I striped the broken
window mech from the passenger side. I opened and sprayed all
the connectors and that side of the lock system started working.
You may also have to remove the roof panel (outside) and get
into the door harness accsess port. There are a mass of connectors
in there clean em'all. This was the last area I did and fixed the
last problem I had with the system. Re-seal the area well when
you put it all back.
